Absa Bank Uganda has launched a new financial campaign dubbed “Jooga 2025,” marking a significant shift in how customers access and manage their financial needs. This comprehensive initiative transforms traditional banking services into tailored solutions that address real-life financial challenges.

During the campaign launch, Absa Bank Uganda’s Chief Finance Officer, Michael Segwaya, outlined the bank’s vision to become an integral part of customers’ financial journeys. “We’re reimagining banking to be more than just transactions – we want to be your financial solutions partner. With Jooga 2025, we’re bringing banking services directly to your home, making financial management seamless and accessible,” Segwaya emphasized.

The campaign introduces several groundbreaking features, including a “Buy Now, Pay Later” option, enabling customers to make substantial purchases through manageable installment plans. This innovation particularly benefits customers looking to acquire vehicles, electronics, or other significant assets without the immediate financial strain.

To encourage digital banking adoption, Absa has announced a compelling 50-million-shilling reward program for frequent credit card users. This initiative aligns with Uganda’s broader push toward a cashless economy while offering tangible benefits to customers embracing digital payments.

Ronald Kamulegeya, Retail and Business Banking Director at Absa, highlighted the campaign’s strategic timing: “We understand that the start of the year brings unique financial pressures – from school fees to business investments. Our new offerings, including unsecured salary loans up to Shs 300 million and business loans up to Shs 200 million, are designed to provide immediate financial support without the traditional barriers of collateral requirements.”

The bank has also streamlined its services for new customers and those switching from other banks, offering competitive terms and simplified onboarding processes. This customer-centric approach extends to international transactions, ensuring seamless cross-border banking experiences.

“Whether you’re planning a wedding, expanding your business, or investing in agriculture, Jooga 2025 provides solutions tailored to your specific needs,” Kamulegeya added, emphasizing the bank’s commitment to inclusive banking that serves both personal and business customers.

Through its enhanced digital platforms, Absa enables customers to conduct most banking operations without visiting physical branches, reflecting the bank’s adaptation to modern banking preferences. This digital transformation includes upgraded mobile banking services, expanded point-of-sale networks, and improved online banking capabilities.

The Jooga 2025 campaign represents Absa’s strategic response to evolving customer needs and technological advancements in Uganda’s banking sector. By combining innovative financial products with digital convenience, Absa is positioning itself as a forward-thinking financial institution committed to driving economic growth and financial inclusion in Uganda.

New and existing customers can explore these enhanced offerings through Absa’s digital platforms or by visiting any branch nationwide, marking a new chapter in Uganda’s banking landscape where financial solutions are more accessible, flexible, and customer-focused than ever before.
