Stanbic Bank Uganda has earned the prestigious title of Best Bank in Uganda at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2023. The announcement was made during a ceremony in London where the world’s best banks were celebrated for their achievements.
Euromoney, a leading authority in the global banking and financial markets, considered 269 different award categories at country, regional, and global levels to determine the winners. The Euromoney Awards for Excellence, initiated in 1992, were the first of their kind in the banking industry and continue to be the gold standard in recognizing excellence. The winners are chosen by an editorial panel of judges following an extensive three-month research and interview process.
In addition to this recognition, Stanbic Bank was also honored as Uganda’s most admired financial institution in the latest rankings by Brand Africa. The award, based on a survey and rankings conducted by Geopoll and Kantar across 32 African countries, acknowledges Stanbic Bank’s positive reputation and impact on the continent.
Furthermore, Standard Bank Group, of which Stanbic Bank is a member, achieved significant recognition by rising to the top spot as Africa’s most admired finance brand for 2023. The group surpassed other prominent financial institutions such as Equity, Absa, Ecobank, and UBA.
These recent accolades highlight Stanbic Bank’s continuous efforts to provide outstanding financial services and contribute to Africa’s growth and development. The awards serve as a testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction and excellence in the financial sector.
